This piece was part of Half Moons, my first solo exhibition in 2023. The cactus stands for everything material, rooted, tangible and present. The crystal ball for everything that is not, the invisible, the felt, the imagined. And the half moon brings both together, two halves that only make sense as one. The collection was built around that tension and this piece sits at its heart.
